Jeremiah 32:32-34

³² because of all the evil of the people^[a] of Israel and the people^[b] of Judah that they did to provoke me to anger—they, their kings, their officials, their priests, and their prophets, and the men^[c] of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem. ³³ And they have turned to me their backs^[d] and not their faces, though I have taught them over and over again,^[e] but they were not listening to accept discipline. ³⁴ And they set up their abominations in the house that is called by my name, to defile it.
